Rhapsody

Featuring trumpeter Eric Aubier and the Orchestre de la Garde Republican, quot;Rhapsodyquot; includes three important works of the 20th c., for or transcribed for trumpet, by George Gershwin, Henri Tomasi and Alex Arutiunian, plus a short work of Francis Poulenc and a Concertino for trumpet by Maurice Faillenot. A soloist at the Paris Opera at age 19, Mr. Aubier maintains an international concert career and is a fine representative of the French wind tradition. The famed OGR wind ensemble dates it's history to 1848, and has been led by François Boulanger since 1997.
