They seem to seal great. I took some sugar and dry dough mix for a camping trip. threw it in my pack. No leaks after opening and resealing. Did not attract any ants to the sugar either. Saves more space compared to a hard food storage can or box. Durability seems good but I will be using these more often. time will tell.
