Based on product description, I purchased these bags to hold ice without leaking in an ice chest when traveling. After two trips using four bags full of ice in an ice chest to keep items cool, they have worked perfectly without leaking. Time will tell how long they will last but for now they have been perfect and just what I was looking for.

Gallon reusable bags 6 pack - good deal!

The idea tech reusable Gallon PBA free freezer prep bags are a great deal for the $10 cost. They are not super thick as some of the more expensive varieties but perform exactly as well, even better. However they are much much thicker and stronger than the standard ziplock. The bags are reusable and dishwasher safe (I only do top rack) They have a great seal and have not come open even with liquid expansion. They stand up on their own ( some of the expensive thick competitors do not!) and have convenient measurements clearly printed on the side. The gallon size is perfect for food prep and storage in refrigerator or freezer. I have used them now for a few months and have zero complaints. I even bought another set in different sizes. The gallons are my favorite because they are big enough and wider at the bottom. And they are PBA free!! Super deal for the price!
