Another regrettable purchase. It doesn't fit the toilet. I suspect this item is not intended for the American market. It likely fits British toilet bowls but not North American ones. The rubber pads on the bottom of the seat do not touch the ceramic body of the toilet bowl in the down position. The seat cover in the closed position also collapses inward if you sit on it. I'm really getting tired of returning things!
