No more swimming...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in the mountains where there can be large dumps of snow. This is perfect to clear our long driveway and help us so we do not have to swim through the snow to get to our cabin.

Reliable winter friend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought mine in about 2012. Had a blizzard and I was out of town. Have used it yearly since in northern Wisconsin. Has never failed me. Electric start fires off engine immediately. Only issue is in spring the wet, heavy snow sometimes clogs in the chute.

Flawless performance! Fast and easy clearing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this blower Oct 2023. It has performed flawlessly. It is a beast, but very easy to use. Lots of power in the the motor and drive. I can do my driveway and walks, plus every neighbors driveway and sidewalks for a block on both streets, both sides of each street in 60-70 minutes(about 25 housesin total as I live on the corner of the block). Zero regrets with this purchase. The power chute is so nice and is the best feature. Easy enough to use with gloves, but with the heated grips I can operate gloveless for even easier control of the joystick. Heated hand grips are nice, but not deal breakers for me. The chute controls take one or two snowfalls of clearing to become second nature, but it is very nice to use and I get precise placement of snow as I work down the block helping the neighbors. I can put snow where I want it almost instantly without creating extra work as I go. My only complaint is the light is not ideally placed being that it sits behind the chute and shroud, but it is a minor quibble that has little effect on snow clearing overall. If I had a mountain cabin or lived remotely and had no light pollution around, the light placement may actually matter more. I have a minor hernia, so the electric start is much appreciated, though the one time I tried the pull start it seemed easy to start. I still prefer the electric start though. I would highly recommend this blower. My only regret is that we didn't have bigger snow storms and more of them. I hope we get more snow next year. My friend bought a Toro at the same time, but his broke down within the first hour of use and it spent most of the winter in the shop trying to be repaired. I had flawless performance from my Troy-bilt 3010XP. Ultimately, all things tallied, the price was worth it for me. Buy once, cry once!
