Our girls only had 1 hot/cold cup. They wanted something new and a little different. They picked a couple of these out. Very lovely soft colors to choose from. They love them! these are large, yet with the handle, they do not drop like the other ones. Still keeps drinks hot/cold. Not like the ones with the fully enclosed lid that is sealed and screwed on. They can leave their cups in the car during an Arizona summer, and we can come back, and they are still cold. These are best for our family around the house and on the go short trips. The straw comes out, and you can seal the plastic lid when removed to prevent spilling. It also has a flip top opening to drink from as well. They can leak if you are using the straw and tipping, obviously. Our girls again love these. No more dropping on their toes, and something new, different, yet veey functional.
