It has a light as to where you are grinding. I love it so much that I sent to two of my daughters. I would love to have a dish underneath the base to capture the grinds that fall off the grinders. I would love a starter packs of Peppercorns n Course Salt. Instead of spoons. But otherwise I love the fresh crushed peppers n salt.
