HORMEL COMPLEATS Turkey and Dressing 6-Pack, Shelf Stable, 10 oz Plastic Tray (6 Pack)

I use Hormel Compleats mostly as my lunch that I take to work with me. I was aware of this product before I received my sample. I had not tried all the varieties and was pleased to find out Homel has other Compleats that I really enjoy. I really love how simple this product is to heat up for lunch and it is very filling. I really like the taste and I would definitely recommend this product.

Shortly after Thanksgiving, we experienced a windstorm that caused a tree to fall into my house. While we were unharmed, the same cannot be said for my kitchen. Yes, it was the kitchen that took the brunt of the damage. For four months, I was "cooking" on a card table in my living room with a microwave and a slow cooker. Hormel Completes saved the day for easy hot meals to feed my family. Packaged as a single serving meal, the Turkey & Dressing was easy to prepare, just remove from cardboard packaging, peel back the plastic a bit to vent and microwave for one minute to ninety seconds (we had to microwave for 90 seconds because our microwave is lower powered) then let rest for a minute (I honestly don't know anyone who actually follows this step, we didn't). Carefully peeling off the rest of the lid reveals a nicely prepared hot meal. I found the Turkey & Dressing to be my favorite meal. While the texture of the dressing was slightly mushy, but I suspect this was due to the copious amounts of gravy in the meal and I was expecting this from a shelf stable "fresh" meal. The turkey was in patty form which was easy to cut up with a plastic spoon. After trying this meal in the Sampling Box I received, I purchased several more to help us get through 4 months without a kitchen. And, now that I have my kitchen back, I am keeping several in my pantry, just in case!
