Not quite 'dried' but still excellent flavor
This brand of 'dried' chilies is very fresh and flavorful with the correct heat level for the type of chili pepper. But if you want a dried chili to grind-up you'll need to toast these yourself. Dried peppers should be dry while still being slightly pliable. These would remind you more of how a raisin is 'dried', still moist. But, that being said, I have to say... these peppers are excellent. Great for a few recipes as they are, and it doesn't take much to dry them further. The heat levels are right where they should be for the different types I've tried so far. I will be buying again.
