Works great for our toddler

The toybox is exactly what I wanted and it's safe for our toddler's little fingers. She is only 19 months old but she has already learned how to open and close the lid. Now if we can get her to put her toys away, it will be perfect!

Too much trouble for the money.

I purchased this toy box for my neice. First I was under the impression that this product was already assembled. So I was not happy when I had to assemble it myself. A couple of the pre drilled holes were not lined up exactly which made putting the screws in very difficult and one even broke off, and of course not one spare screw to be had. When I was down to the end and putting the lid hinges on the final straw was the hinges were so strong that the board (a piece that was already glued and assembled by the manufacturer) broke off. I tried screwing it back down and even added another screw in the middle for some extra support and again it broke off. So I had to go purchase some bolts and drill holes all the way through to attach the board back that the hinges mounted on. This was too much money for something that had to be assembled and then broke when it was assembled. As pretty as it is I would not have purchased it if I would have known ahead of time how much time and trouble it was going to be to get it together and make it work.
