Hormel tamales are made with quality beef, wrapped deliciously and covered in red sauce. When I was a college gal on football Saturdays we heated up Hormel tamales, placed 2-3 in a big soup bowl, and topped them with a ladle of homemade chili and some shredded cheddar cheese. Yum! We called this dish a Full House.

NO they are NOT "real tamales," BUT they are excellent in their own way. Almost like a completely different Food Group. I've enjoyed these bad boys with some hot sauce for years and they are a Good Value cost wise!
