Prevue Pet Keet/Tiel Cascade Roof Cage

I shopped long and hard, and this was the best cage in my opinion for a parakeet. Very spacious and quality made. I love how the door draws down where the bird can come out on it's own. The long perch was too thick for a parakeet, the two smaller ones were fine, but I purchased other natural perches from my local bird store. The only thing I did not like was that even though the grate is removable, you have to take the cage apart either from the base or roof to remove it. I did not want to do this every time I cleaned the cage as I think the plastic base or snapping the roof on and off would eventually break. It is not necessary for a parakeet, so I just removed it and won't be using it. You could definitely put two parakeets in this cage comfortably, but I will be using it for one. Very happy with my purchase.
