Very nice and real sharp

Overall this is A very decent three blade knife. Comes ready to use as it is sharp right out of the box. Not overly large nor small. I would say that this is just fine for field dressing. Now onto the minus one star. No holster. This is a larger than average tool and should have a belt holster or even a large clip. This is quite bulky and is, IMO, uncomfortable in my pants pocket. I'm thinking that I'll have to carry in a shirt/jacket pocket. Second: VERY VERY stiff to open and will require some effort. This is both good and bad as once it is open, it will require some effort to close. So..... No accidental closing on your hand. If you had to use in an emergency, this may prove to be difficult opening any blade in a fast manner. I'm sure over time it should wear a bit and become easier and still maintain a stiff open position. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with how it works, looks, and feels in the hand SgtWall USMC
