I'm extremely impressed with this shock collar and remote. The battery life is outstanding — the collar only needs to be charged every 4–5 days, if that. Even more impressive, the remote hasn't been charged once since we bought it and it still has one bar left after at least 6 months of use. Training-wise, it works exactly how it should. I've only had to use the shock setting one single time because the beep and vibration modes are more than enough to get my dog's attention and correct behavior. Overall, this has been a reliable, effective, and well-made product, and I would absolutely recommend it to others.

My hound dog is as stubborn as can be and this helped a lot. I was skeptical at first but in 2 months I have trained him. He's 10 months now and all I have to say is you want the remote and he goes and lays down. I even got one for my aunts dog which is my dogs brother and he had no training compared to mine who is in training for service dog and in 2 weeks he's already getting the point. Battery last a long time on one charge. The shock goes to a level 12 and we use ours at a 6-7 for a 60 lbs dog.
