Postosuchus Review

This is definitely a model I have wanted for a while and I am not disappointed. First off I would like to say that I enjoy models that look as realistic as possible, as if it were plucked out of its environment and transformed into a mini identical version of itself. This Postosuchus figure is exactly that. The sculpt and the paint job are the most important aspect of a figure. Taking into account the skeletal remains, the precieved environment, and clues from today's wildlife are the best ways I think to make an accurate depiction of an extinct animal. This figure has all of that, the sculpt fits the skeleton, and Postosuchus was most likely a reptile so the crocodile like paint job is perfect and definitely looks like something nature would have created. Love this model, 5 stars, and two thumbs up.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I'm a creature designer raised by a geology professor and particular about everything: accuracy, naturalism, interesting forms, paint-job/patterning, overall gut-feel, etc. This is BY FAR my favorite store-bought prehistoric figurine. I didn't even purchase this online -- I bought it at a museum gift shop (La Brea Tarpits, I think) several years ago and still love this thing. The reason I'm leaving this review is because I actually came to this website in search of figurines comparable to this one (I doubt anything else compares, though). So damn good. I wish I knew the artist's name.

So Realistic!

This is one of the most realistic and detailed figures I've seen. It literally looks like a real dinosaur was shrunk down to mini size. It has incredibly detailed texture and paint. I wasn't even particularly interested in Postosuchus; I just ordered it because it was such an amazing model. Make more like this!
