It is soft, lovely, and big. Surprisingly not as thick as I thought it was. So if you have cold air, you're going to get a chill. It goes straight through both sides of the blanket. That is the only disappointment which would have given it only one star. If it hadn't been so soft, big, and comfy! Best used in autumn weather but not really winter unless you put something on top of it. I will have to make a real blanket that is thick... since none of the blanket market people make thick SOLID blankets anymore. With this blanket, a sleeping bag, and a couple other blankets, I was able to not freeze to death.... for the autumn and winter of November/October 2019 through and to 2020 jan-march/April weather. As the electric company shut off our electricity and our water well last year for no reason.

not trye to the color pictured. it appeares as a navy blue but is medium/ royal blue. color was disappointing. price was fair though. it is very warm because of the polyester make of it.
