Whole Pineapple

The shopper picked out a great pineapple for me. My issue is the online sale price is $1 each. But I was charged $2.43? for the pineapple. It still has time to ripen. I started to cancel my order for the pineapple, after reading all the negative reviews. I'm in the Bay Area.It was nice having a shopper that spoke and understood English. All 21 of my items were correct except I paid for the 20oz pack of watermelon chunks. I received the 7 oz pack for the same price.

Juicy, Sweet, but Pick Your Own!

These pineapples are a great price and incredibly sweet, my kids won't even touch canned pineapple anymore. I just wish Walmart offered a “2 for” deal now and then. Tip: Don't leave fresh produce to grocery pickers. I always choose my own, and here's what I look for: Golden-yellow color at the base Sweet smell at the bottom Slight give when squeezed Leaves that pull out easily Feels heavy = juicy If you pick a good one, it's 100% worth it.

Ripe or Riper Pineapple Please

Nice pineapple but GREEEN. I sure hope it ripens to where I can eat it before going sour like the last one that was too green did. There is just no good excuse for this. A pineapple should be turning golden, have center leaves that pull out easily, and smell like pineapple especially on the bottom. It will have a little more give when squeezed than the “rock” that it is when green.
