This waterproof mattress protector does an excellent job of preventing liquid spills from soaking into your mattress. You can drink while in bed without worrying about spills which is exactly what I needed as I do like watching TV from my bed and having a drink while doing so. Had a few accidents with spilling so this is going to come in handy to protect my mattress. It arrive nicely shipped in a zippered bag which will be great for storing when not in use. The surface material is a 100% brushed microfiber and the backing is a waterproof TPU membrane layer. The Queen cover us a generous 80x60x14 and I had no problem with it covering my deep pocket mattress and it was not even a stretch to do so. I was pleased that is did not make a crinkly noise or any noise when I lay on it! I washed it before putting on my bed and I do have a couple of tips to make the experience better. The black somewhat attracts lint so be careful what you wash it with. Before removing to put in dryer you are going to want to be very careful as water gets caught in the membrane. I had to pour the water out into the machine and put it through another spin cycle to keep from getting water everywhere. I am hoping knowing this in advance saves you an unexpected surprise. After putting it on my bed I did a water test. You can see from my picture I poured quite a bit of water on it. I then used a cloth to sponge up the excess water and let it sit for about an hour. I was very happy that no water at all soaked through to my mattress. Cover was dry within a few hours and there was no sign I had ever spilled anything on it. It does the job as intended and I would recommend if you need to protect your mattress from any kind of spills.
