“Razorblade smooth” shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I have red hair and this razor is the only one I’ve ever had that shaves me as close as a razorblade. The cleaner works great and literally takes 1 minute. I can but it back on the charge station right after brushing my teeth.

Razor Close Shave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 65 and have used a straight razor all my life. Skin is weathered, getting thin and hands are getting shaky and crippled up. All this adds up to nicks and cuts. Decide to try an electric razor and settled on a Norelco as I only shave every 3 days or so. Quite a change. I have been using the i9000 Ultra Prestige for about a month now. It gives me pretty close to a straight razor shave without all the ritual of stropping, honing, whipping up a lather, prepping the beard...you get the idea. I like that I can just pick up the Norelco at anytime and shave in a few minutes vs. having to time the shave with a hot shower. Transition was uneventful. No "razor burn" or bumps...just a nice smooth shave. A day or two to get the knack of the circular motion and pressure down pat and that's where the GroomTribe App came in handy. Cleaning pod is nice and quick. The UV charger is nice but I find I do not use it but once ever two weeks or so. If the i9000 holds up over time, I don't see myself going back to my old straight razor.
