could be more sturdy. especially for a larger dog. but nice .

I have a few bad so we'll start with the good. The house is gorgeous. The wood is beautiful. It smells great, nice cedar smell! But, 1. Don't get it for a large dog...medium dog only. My dog is 75 lbs. I would stick w/maybe 50 and under? The dimensions are accurate, but it's not accurate to the actual house because some of the pieces like the roof or the border or whatever stick out. You loose an inch or two for me this mattered. Should not be advertised for large.dogs. Also, for such a nice house the floor design is horrible!! The two peices just sit on a ledge vs. being nailed or screwed in. It's a really, really bad design because they will fall out. I've had them a few times seem pretty sturdy and secure when I have the house completely level but my dog likes to go on top of the house like a lot of dogs do and idk if itms that but it wiggles and warps from the middle on both the front and back so this makes it slightly move which makes the floor pop out of the ledge it sits on and they fall So this has scared my dog who was hesitant of the house anyways she doesnt like enclosed spaces which is why I wanted to try this one because it had the open part in the glass. You can take the rubber thing off for the rain which I did and the entrance was too small for her so I then took off. The frame part making the entrane larger. This just has made it all the more unstable and I feel like I need to get this screwdriver and do some work and maybe it will have some help. She basically does not go in it but enjoys sitting on top. It is a scratchy surface on top, but she's double coded. I don't know. Guess she doesn't mind. Overall I will probably be selling this locally soon and trying to find something else. It is very pretty. Idk I think this could work for a smaller dog. Just be weary of the horrible floor design but if your handy, you could probably find a way to secure it I guess I haven't really looked at that option but if your dog scares easily in the floor starts to move from under them and be uneven, then they might not like this. If your dog is smaller though, and you have it on a completely flat surface then who knows maybe the floor won't be an issue? I did see some other people complain about it. They should really fix that design. It does have some benefits. It looks cool, the wood is real, top opens. For some smaller dogs could work and I gave it a really really bad review because overall it was advertised for my dogs, weight rating and for her size so that is not accurate and needs to be fized. As well due to the poor design of the floor, small entrance for a dog, my girls size to go through and not super secure, it was a bust for me and total waste. Has hope though. Seller fix the floor and update your dog weight and size rating
