We love the bed, our daughter loves it. She likes that she can make a fort under it, and has a desk to do all her activities. She has drawn up plans on how she would like to decorate the bottom with curtains, fairy lights, etc. Aside from that, the box is VERY heavy, make sure you have someone to help bring it inside. You also NEED two people to put it together. It does have a small wiggle when my daughter climbs up to the top, my husband is going to secure it to wall studs just to be safer (we're those parents 😉). We're unsure if it is the beds' fault or because our floors are uneven (we're on the second story of an apartment with uneven floors in parts of other rooms) but thought I should mention it.
