I love the design and functionality of this bed. However, putting it together is a terrible experience. The instructions are not very clear and there is a ton of pieces! They also sent me defective boards that do not reach both sides of the bed. I have a bed that my son cannot even use at the moment.

bowed and split boards upon arrival, if i hadn't already put hours into assembling this much (roughly halfway) it would've been returned, random splotches of white paint, holes weren't cleaned after drilling so some are nearly impossible to locate, simply put, the quality does not match the price! if you can't afford the extra couple hundred for "professional assembly" good luck, you'll have a sore thumb and a frustrating week!
