Love this pineapple lamp

I hesitated buying this lamp based on reviews from other sites, but I am so happy I purchased this lamp!!! It is beautiful! Goes perfectly with my pineapple accent pillows in my Tommy Bahama themed living room. A regular bulb fits but must be inserted before the shade is put on. The shade was a little tricky to open but my sons stronger hands were all we needed to lock it in place. No wrinkles! Just screwed it on the lamp. I am extremely happy with this purchase!

Cute lamp but not worth the money I paid!

The lamp is really cute over all but the lamp shade that comes with it is collapsible and the piece to hold the lamp shade on is on the side of the styrofoam and i mistakenly threw it in the trash until i went back and read the details on the web site again. The shade i don't give any stars to because it is poorly made and very hard to put together. The flat metal pieces do not fit properly and the material had a hole at the seam. I am going to have to buy a shade for the lamp.

Would have scored higher if....

It does not come with a lamp shade. I had preferred that it'd be a 3-way bulb. But was not. However, my handyman husband was able to convert it to one. I did buy a lampshade at Walmart for about $14. And looks simply divine now. But was misled thinking that it came with the lamp shade. Maybe it said that it didn't come with a lampshade, but I never saw that. Regardless I did rate it a 3-star because of having to buy a lampshade which I thought it came with and having to convert it to a 3-way bulb. That would have been a nice option.
