I bought this having owned an older 1/2 gallon version. I have absolutely no complaints about this brand or product. I work in the heat, so I fill it half way with ice then top it with water. Refilled it before I left work on my Friday and still has ice almost 48hrs later. This is an awesome container. Definitely worth buying for working outside, camping, hiking, or whatever you'd use it for.

Excellent value and quality for this insulated jug. I was pleasantly surprised how well this jug keeps water ice-cold for over 24 hours! Wasn't expecting the store-brand item to measure up with name brands, but I doubt you'll find a better stainless steel insulated jug than this one, and at a bargain-basement price!

Very impressive!

I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first but when this thing arrived I immediately noticed that it was well made and looked very durable. The ice retention on its maiden voyage was over 72 hours and half of that time was in a very hot car in the San Antonio heat. I would definitely buy again, 10/10 would recommend.
