Edges are not finished

I give lots of stars for the comfort of the rug, color, size, etc. It feels nice. BUT - the edges are not finished, so the ends are exposed and pieces of yarn keep falling off the edge. The long edges are binded/hemmed but why wouldn't the ends be? Duct tape sticks on the bottom but not on the fabric part, so not good there.
