Sauder Carson Forge Single Pedestal Desk with Drawers, Coffee Oak Finish

I had been looking for awhile to upgrade my 30 year old desk now that I'm working from home permanently. I found Sauder on the third page of my Google search and wished I had found them sooner. It would have saved me a ton of time. When you unpack the pieces you can feel the weight and smell the real wood. . . . and it's a great smell. All of the parts (including the hardware), are clearly marked. The directions are very clear and detailed but you need to take your time and try not to get ahead. It took my helper and I about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. The desk is big enough to accommodate a laptop, keyboard, and two monitors (which I have on stands clamped to the side of the desk) and still have space. It's a very clean look and all made in the USA. Looking forward to buying another piece to go with it.

With COVID-19, I have been working from home and quickly realized that my body did NOT like my 'set-up'! I was using a very old (Sauder also!) computer stand and, ergonomically, it just wasn't working. I have bought many other Sauder products in the past and it was the only place I considered when looking for a new desk. And I wasn't disappointed! Very easy to put together and, when I realized that I had the wrong part for a drawer, I immediately called customer service, they looked up the part and told me it would be mailed out asap. Can't ask for better CS than that! Plus, I have family in the Archbold area and am grateful that I know exactly what kind of community I am supporting by my purchase. And I know this won't be my last purchase, either! Next time I'm looking, Sauder will be the first place I will come to!
