Pretty, but NOT PURPLE.
I'm giving this lamp a 3 star, because whoever said this lamp is "purple" needs their eyes checked for COLOR BLINDNESS. This lamp is MAUVE. There is not one ounce of purple in this lamp, not even lavender. This being said, the lamp is VERY TALL!! I measured it with the shade on, and it's 3 WHOPPING FEET TALL!! The lamp itself is very beautiful and arrived in two separate HUGE boxes, and very well packaged.
