I was worried the small might be a bit large for my chihuahua but it ended up being the perfect size! For reference I have a 8lb chihuahua and the small was a perfect fit. It's also got an adjustable latch to either tighten or loosen the collar. Its material is easy to wash if needed and my dog seems to find it comfortable. We also got the matching leash for that extra pizzaz.
