As a dietary supplement take 1-2 capsules daily with 8-12 oz of water or as directed by your healthcare professional. The recommended dose of this product contains as much caffeine as about 2 cups of coffee. Do not consume more that 400 mg caffeine from any source in a 24 hour period. I can't drink coffee anymore due to stomach issues so I have been taking this. This is strong and works well. Sometimes I need less so I pour some of it in an empty capsule and save for another time. It definitely lasts for over 8 hours. If I take it too close to bedtime I can't sleep. So plan well
