Great replacement pump

Replaced an older pump on a 60 gallon tank in my shop. Some modification was required, but it was a lot cheaper route than going whole new compressor. Almost 3 weeks old and no complaints, it is quieter than my older one. Powers die grinders and sanders plus my plasma cutter like a charm I did replace the electric motor with new 5HP and turn pump at about 1100 rpm, max rpm was 1396 so I'm sure I don't get max CFM but it works for me. Will see if it lasts.

Excellent upgrade

I paired this compressor with the Powerhorse 208cc engine to make a portable air compressor. I am very happy with the results. Both the gas engine and the air compressor run very smoothly and quietly. They produce plenty of air to run a 1/2 inch impact wrench. I plan on using this compressor to supply a sand blaster. A quick test showed that the compressor will keep up with a 3/16 inch sand blast pressure nozzle.
