i wanted a pair of ballet flats but didnt want to spend a fortune. i actually didnt have high expectations since these were such a great price but they are better than my ballet flats that were over $100. of course they aren't leather but they have a decent cushsion footbed, the elastic helps from thrle shoe flopping off and isnt tight at all. love these
