Restored Nintendo 3DS Cosmo Black - Nintendo 3DS

I bought a restored Nintendo 3DS in white as a gift and overall I’m really happy with it. The white has dulled a little over time, which I expected with a refurbished device, but it was very cleaned up and looked well taken care of. It didn’t feel beat up or overly worn at all. It didn’t come in the original box, but it was packed securely in bubble wrap and arrived safely. I didn’t see any visible scratches or damage, and both screens looked clear. The stylus (pen) was included too, which I appreciated. At first there was a black screen of death when we tried to play a game, which was a little concerning. But it just needed a system update. We went into System Settings, connected to WiFi, and ran the update. After that, everything worked completely fine. We tested a game and it played smoothly with no lag. The controls feel nice and bouncy and responsive. The touchscreen has good sensitivity, and the sound quality was actually really good like clear and loud, and the music hit just like I remember. The 3D effect is definitely trippy, but that’s how it’s always been with the 3DS. And it still has that satisfying click when you open and close it, which is so nostalgic. I got this as a gift and they loved it. Overall, solid purchase and it brought back a lot of memories.
