Better than expected

I used to own a different set of extenders by Terk, and Also Radio shack. The radio shack ones didn't work at all. the Terk served their purpuse but this Next Generation one is much better. There is no extra box to plug in and have to point your remote at. Just put the little trasmitter in the battery compartment of your remote, place the receiver by the component that you want to control and it is done. Because it is an RF signal, as long as the remote is pointed anywhere in the direction of the receiver, it works. Plus the one receiver with one IR bulb is running both my home theater system and my cable box without having to buy anything else extra. I highly recommend this product
