I don't recommend purchasing the product.
Assembling this platform bed requires two people and 4 hours to complete the task. The step requires assembling the drawers. I assembled the drawers but found it impossible for the drawers to slide in and out with ease. I wrote the manufacturer who was of little help and gave conflicting instructions. I'm am now stuck with a bed with three empty spaces intended for the drawers. I purchased this product specifically for the storage space the bed provided. The back and forth with manufacturer failed to resolve the problem. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
