Nesco Food Storage Vacuum Sealer, Built in Roll Storage, 10 Quart bags + 10 Gallon Bags Included

At this point I have only used the vacuum sealer about 10 times. I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was and also how strong the vacuum is. I used some of the supplied bags, which worked perfectly. I also purchased some 8" and 11" rolls of bagging material, which I prefer, as I can cut them to the exact size for the job. So far every attempt has been a success. One thing that helped keep the bag lips flat for a good seal was to put a book of about 1" thick under the lip so that the bag was level with the sealer opening. This is a truly useful appliance and I can see that I will be using it quite a bit to preserve the freshness of vegetables from our garden. If this vacuum sealer proves to be well made and lasts for 5 or more years I will then know I made a good purchase, as of right now I am very pleased.

As I got older, I began to look for "gadgets" to make life easier in a variety of ways. I found that the sealing of leftovers in air tight bags became harder to accomplish with aching hands and wrists. Therefore, I bought this nifty little sealer and was delighted with all the things it now takes care of in my kitchen. It is simple and even seals other food's plastic bags. I feel like I could do the commercial with all honesty.
