I've owned this exact dehydrator in the past but lost custody of it after a divorce. I've researched buying another and came back to this one due to ease of use. Easiest and least expensive way to make jerky when I'm on keto. Only one knob. Mechanics are on top of the unit. More trays make this one better. Clean up is simple. A quick scour under the faucet. Racks are too high to sit vertically in the dishwasher but meat separates easily so it's less hassle to hand wash. Makes the best ground beef jerky with 93 percent lean meat and an online recipe. Buy the jumbo gun. Attractive unit with a white noise hum.

I love this dehydrator! I never used one before, but ordered the Nesco American Harvest Snackmaster and I have used it many times. Me and my grandkids love the apple slices, pineapple, orange slices and most definitely the beef jerky. The jerky gun works great and is very easy to clean. Also, the dehydrator is very easy to clean. I have been so satisfied with this product and would definitely buy again. Jet shipping was very prompt and on time.
