Biryani Recipe using National Bombay Biryani Recipe Mix:

Bombay Vegetable Biryani:

Ingredients:

• 1 pack of National Bombay Biryani Recipe Mix (55g)
• 1 cup basmati rice, soaked for 30 minutes
• Assorted vegetables (carrots, beans, potatoes, peas), chopped
• Onion, thinly sliced
• Tomato, chopped
• Yogurt (curd), 1/2 cup
• Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
• Mint leaves, chopped
• Ghee/oil, 2 tablespoons
• Water, 1 3/4 cups
• Saffron strands (optional)
• Warm milk (to soak saffron, if using)
• Cashews and raisins (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. In a large pot, heat ghee/oil and sauté the thinly sliced onions until golden brown. Keep some onions aside for garnishing.
