Heavy base good design
Visually appealing, easy to assemble. I like that the base is solid marble so it stays put on the counter when grabbing a towel. It very pretty too. The cushion pads it came with for the bottom help so it doesn't scratch your countertop. The only thing to note is that the towel role is not flush with the cylinder so it will spin unless you use your other hand to hold it while you tip the towel off. I'm using it in my guest bathroom as an option for people who may not want to use a shared hand towel.

My Opinion!
The look is fabulous! The feel is sturdy! However one thing I do have to point out is the idea that: 1. the bottom screw needs to be a bit more flat or 2. The bottom black skip resistant pads need to be a bit thicker. The whole thing wobbles a bit and this is due to the thickness or roundness of the screw head on the bottom of the piece. Otherwise a fantastic item regardless!
