Have another one just like it, I had it for 6-12 months The brew button would not start brewing, so had to get one, can't do without coffee. I will keep receipt of purchase this time. I keep them clean and I don't abuse it. I guess just faulty. Everything was working just fine before this.

I've had expensive coffee makers before, but they always ended up breaking after about a year and a half. When I bought this for $18, I thought if it lasts as long as my old coffee makers, I'll be happy. Well, I'm happier! It really only lasts about the same amount of time, but for $18, so what! I throw it out and buy another one. If it starts leaking water on your counter, just buy a new one. There's no fixing it. The timer works perfectly, so my coffee is always ready when I get up. Just buy it, you won't be disappointed.
