The Monster cable is just what I need to keep my satellite box in a more inconspicuous spot in my media room and still have it where my remote can access it. It handles the signal strength to give me a clean, crisp and sharp image on my Ultra HDTV screen and is long enough to be easily tucked out of sight.

The Monster Ultra High Speed 8K Cobalt 2.1 HDMI cable is an excellent quality, sturdy cable that has thus far performed without any problem for me. The cable itself is not especially thick and heavy, which makes it easier to bend and lay it in the desired direction and to have it hanging from an HDMI outlet without straining the cable's connector. Despite not being especially thick, the cable's Duraflex outer jacket should protect it from damage. The cable provides up to a very fast 48 gigabytes per second data transfer rate and a frame rate of up to 120 herz, along with 12 bit color. Although I did not have a compatible device to test it with, the cable supposedly supports even a 10K resolution for commercial and industrial applications. Thus, this results in very high quality images. The cable also accommodates all home theater audio formats and streaming video services with advanced audio technology for surround-sound quality. The cable can be used with all HDMI devices (it worked flawlessly with my television, computer, DVD player, and converter box) and is backward-compatible with older HDMI standards. For people that do not participate in sophisticated computer gaming or who lack relatively advanced audiovisual devices, this cable is probably more than they currently need, but it does provide a desirable component if they ultimately upgrade their needs.
