Works.

As described. If you want to run a long wire to your HDMI source you better make sure it is an ACTIVE wire or you will run into all kinds of weird issues. I have not tested the 8k performance of the wire but I got 4K at 175 hrz to work.

Worked fine with 4k over 32 fot cable.

Our new 4k DVD player would not connect to our Sony 4k projector over the cable we had been using for years. Switching to this cable solved the problem immediately.

So far so good, although it's early yet. The cable is slightly thicker than it appears in the photo, but that wasn't a problem for us. It is directional, so be careful when you install it (especially if you're pulling it behind walls, be sure you locate the right ends in the right place).
