Satin finish dulls brass

I bought this spray in both the satin and glossy finish to protect antique furniture brass handles. I tested them out first on other brass pieces to see how they would look. The glossy finish looked nice. The satin looked terrible. It gives a foggy, dull appearance to the brass. I do not recommend the satin finish.
