My family and I are going on vacation soon and I wanted a cute sling that would be comfortable enough to wear in the hot climate. I ended up getting to use it sooner than planned because my daughter was sick for a couple of days and demanded to be held 24/7. I chose a sling over a carrier due to the fact that I wanted something light weight and breathable. We got our foster daughter at 13 mos old and she was 19lbs. Most slings only go to 25/35 lbs but I was looking for something we could get by with for a little longer. She is very clingy and I am wanting to bond with her so I don't deny her when she wants held however that is all the time and I needed my hands free to do things. I am a big fan of baby wearing!

Baby-wearing for the petite

I am petite and so the sling is a great option to be able to wear baby and get things done! The gauze fabric is nice and light for the warm weather we get in Hawaii and the rose color is a plus. It's just going to take me a couple of tries to get the hang of slinging baby properly!
