The color is the only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars. It's a dark or forest green not a Kelly green like the picture. But I don't think you'll find a better mask at that price point.

Good, Solid Helmet

I bought this for my daughter during her first season and she figured out that she likes being a catcher (proud dad was a catcher also). After the remaining games (5) and practices plus nonstop training (3-4 times a week) and half way through the second season (4 games) for a total of 8 months of pretty solid use, this helmet has so far held up beautifully. We have been working on flipping it off to get the ball, has had several foul tips and pitches to the mask and barley a blemish.
