Very nice finish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This floor finish is very nice, the scent isn't terrible and you can use it to finish numerous things! The dogs claws don't seem to have any effect on it and the can closes so you can use it multiple times!

OMG, was very skeptical at first but..........

I was going for Varathane High Traffic but couldn't find it, so i got this, was very skeptical and pricey stuff but i needed to finish my floor asap.. well what can i say this is absolutely fabulous, easy to apply and the floor looks gorgeous. Got the satin water clean, dries quick and no sanding in between. Minwax is my new go to brand for flooring. Worth the price.

Easy application.

I went back and forth on whether to use water based or oil based finish. I didn't really want the yellowing of oil, the extra long dry time, and the massive odor associated with oils based finishes. I read reviews, and was slightly nervous about using this product, but I has a suspicion it was more application error vs product failure, which is typical with any coatings. My suspicions were correct. I stained my floors with dark walnut stain, and three coats of minwax ultimate floor finish following the instructions meticulously, and have been extremely pleased with outcome. I have two dogs, and the finish has preformed above expectations. Always be cautious with reviews, everyone in the DIY sector thinks they are experts. This was my very first floor finish job, and I'm over joyed with the outcome, and receive compliments on my floors with every guest who walks though the door!
