Perfect bin...unless you have a scavenging cat
I love this compost bin, it is very easy to keep clean. Unfortunately, my cat is able to easily open this lid and now I have to keep it in the cabinet under the sink, but that's okay because it is such a small bin. Some other reviewers were complaining about it being too small, but I think it is a perfect size for our family of five. I throw out the compost when it is full every other day, this seems like a reasonable amount of time so that the food is not rotting in your house. All in all, I will purchase again if I need to.

The perfect counter top compost container!
The compost container is just perfect for my kitchen. The size is exactly what I needed, it is so convenient, keeping the countertop looking neat while hiding the vegetable trimmings and coffee grounds. The container holds several days worth of trimmings, etc., with no odor! I use it without a liner, it washes up so easily. The handle makes it so easy to carry out to the garden.
