I bought this, after reviewing several other similar products, to take a feral kitten in for neutering before beginning a new life indoors. Not only was it a breeze to assemble, the gate swung open wide enough to easily put the kitten inside. One of my shirts was placed inside to keep him comforted, and since he's been indoors adjusting the past 2 days he's decided this crate is where he wants to sleep and feel safe.

I was pleasantly surprised at the size, and how well this has held up, especially for the price. I have been using it for my 4 month old chihuahua mix since I have gotten him, we use it about every other day and so far nothing has broken or fallen off. Its easy to clean, lightweight, and surprisingly sturdy. He is around 6lbs now and still has plenty of room.

My 3 kitties approve!

I have several carriers. One of my cats prefer the soft mesh carriers, my other 2 cats like this hard one. I'm not sure what makes a difference, but seeing as 2 out of 3 of my cats love this, I am glad I bought it! Vet visits will be less stressful for them with this carrier. It's easy to put together and very thick (they cannot claw out of this). A must have.
