The height of the game itself is perfect for average size people. I didn't need the riser but i assembled it first and don't want the hassle of returning it. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. Assembled it by myself, but recommend two people. Screen is awesome just like the one I played in the arcade as a youth. Cabinet is sturdy. My husband and I play it in our office everyday. It's made for adults and children. Ms. Pac Man is very additive. Wish it had more games besides the two that I consistently play. Good purchase but wish it was cheaper since I only play 2 of the 12 or so games. But playes it so much that I've gotten my money's worth.
