Well crafted, reasonably comfortable though a bit stiff soled,(understandable considering thick rugged sole,) do what they are intended / claim to do regarding water resistance, relatively easy on, easy off. Satisfied for price. Seem to be a reasonable degree of I believe natural hide leather.
