Personally, I prefer using glass containers for heating food, but with my 13-year-old who often forgets to bring back my nice containers-these are a great alternative. They're convenient , practical, and perfect for situations where you don't want to worry about losing a container. Also, my dad use to use them for storing his screws and misc little tools.

I love Rubbermaid TakeAlongs in any size I buy them. They seal great, and cost little for the quality they are. They are also inexpensive enough that I use them when I make cookies etc. as gifts and also to send home leftovers sometimes with dinner guests and I don't worry about making sure the containers are returned.
